Martin was still trying to deal with them taking Jake away, and tonight was pretty bad. He went to the bar and had begun knocking them back and before he knew it? He wasn't buzzed, he was bordering drunk. He ordered another beer.

Sam knew Martin had lost his son and was taking it hard so when he came into the bar that night and kept ordering drinks, she kept serving them to him. She thought if he got drunk at least he'd forget for a while how miserable he was. She tried to keep track of how many shots he had but it was a busy Saturday night so she lost track. She didn't know how close he was to really being drunk. She set his beer down in front of him and leaned her forearms on the bar. "You doing okay tonight?"
